1. When were you at Hadar?
Summer 2010 - Spring 2011
2. Where are you now (physically)?
3. What are you up to now?
Working in museum development.
4. If you could describe your experience at Hadar in one word what would it be (feel free to elaborate beyond a single word)?
5. Can you tell us a little about your micro grant work?
A team of progressive Jewish scribes have come together to create a website—stamscribes.com—that communities all over the world can use to find a nearby scribe and arrange for the care of their sifrei stam. We've noticed that non-Orthodox communities are often under-served by sofrim, who often operate in different social circles and geographical regions. We want to make learning about and caring for their community's precious ritual assets accessible to every Jew, regardless of their affiliation or location.
6. Is there a time this past year when Hadar specifically came to mind?
When finding other Hadar alumni in Dallas!
