9:30 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern
Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard St, Brookline, MA
Overview
Learn the artistry and rules of making matzah at this hands-on, kosher for Pesah workshop with Rabbi Ethan Tucker. See how the water, flour and high heat quickly come together to bake this most well-known symbol of the Exodus and our annual celebration of freedom.
A kashering station will also be available, so bring your clean pots! Have an item that you’re not sure how to kasher? Bring it with you and R. Tucker will explain how to make it ready for Pesah. Matzah Baking Demonstration and Kashering Station will take place from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM. You will have an opportunity to sign up for particular time slot during registration. Spots are limited, so don’t wait to sign up!
The cost for this program is $10 per household. If finances pose an obstacle to participation, please reach out to [email protected] and we would be happy to accommodate.
