How has gender impacted and shaped Jewish thought? In this class, we'll look both at discussions about the intersection of Judaism and gender as well as the way that gendered themes appear in the larger Jewish philosophical tradition, and we'll consider how to relate to parts of Jewish tradition that present challenges for a more egalitarian approach to Jewish life.
